i was shopping around for different types of extracting machines and came across the rotovac. can anyone tell me if this machine is any good. if not, any suggestions on what type is best to get started?

Steaminpile is right on here. But, perhaps the most important element is whats at the other end of the (roto-vac) wand. I'm naturally referring to the machine.
