Guess my pass history and success in regards to plugging in was just all a dream.

Too bad because for the past 34-35 years, I really thought I make something our myself.

Andy: I can remember when I would have alot of work to do with my upholstery machine I used to plug a heater in and leave it on in the van if it was real cold in the winter just to keep the van warm. People would as why I am plugged in? they did not question my Kleen Rite 214 with two cords just why my tm was plugged in?

Just My opinion

Seriously, if they complain about plugging in if they even notice then they will just complain period. Banes are clean running, QUIET, and are not going to get exhaust fumes in the ventilation system for inside jobs. Big power tms are better for the really greasy restaurant jobs I will say that. When I go out on my own, it will be with a Bane. Good luck!

No complaints about plugging in my recoil 3, in fact, my 8am job this morning complimented me on such a quiet machine. I tell people right off the bat, YOUR ELECTRICITY, YOUR WATER, MY EQUIPMENT AND TIME, Don't like it, call someone else! No complaints so far.

commercial Jobs are different... I think we are talking residential.

They don't like when you have to ask for water, they don't like to have the crap dumped in their sink or toilet, they don't want you using their hydro.

do you know how many times I've been told about the last cleaner that was there with his little plug in....or the one that took their cold water and used it to clean...or the one who dumped that dirty water down the kitchen sink...

just about a million

Your own water is a luxury for sure..Lika all luxury's it cost more... When it's empty you have to fill it and that could be at one of your jobs... so in essence your using someones water. Faster to run a hose to the spiget  to TM.. never run out of water.. Comprenda Mr.Steamer...

Nice to have that freshwater tank though.....Nothing wrong with that...

I agree with most of your logic on "What the custy thinks"... They just don't mention it when your their.....People are picky....
