DLD...I thought the same as you at one time...Hey... and that's OK...

                                                            BUT

Until you have used both like many Tm'ers here you really don't know the difference....And what a difference in performance...............

One day maybe you will find out... It's true what the TM pro's say... and i agree... I also have both and you will never want to use that porty if you have a TM..... save your duckies and get a TM.....You won't regret it....

Only reason why some one would say a porty is better is because they

cant afford a truck mount plain and simple.  There is no way if you had a

choice, to pick any truck mount or any porty, and both were free you

would not pick a porty.  Don't know why some of you go on so much when

you know what is better.  For some ppl it is just a matter of pride, and

there is nothing wrong with being proud of your setup.  But to say its

better is another.

I love my porty only because I don't have a truckmount. I don't have a truckmount because I don't need it and because I don't do any residential carpet cleaning. I clean carpets only in commercial buildings and very often I clean the areas that are not on the 1st floor. So, basically I don't even need a truckmount.
