ysc5, after the first dry stroke, about 1hr quicker drying of carpet for every extra dry stroke. Upholstery dry stroke till it's near dry.

I run at 425 psi and heat on high what ever that is on a 405? Have a glide??? Haven't put Lisa's glide on yet but it is certainly a fine looking piece of work. Over wetting??? If you are it is probably from lack of experience and proper training. Old rule of thumg 2 extraction passes fro every cleaning pass should help get you on the way. maybe more extractiion passes depending on how slow your cleaning passes are. different strokes for different folks. I better quit and let the more educated and experienced handle this one.Guitar

cleaning temp also plays a factor... what temp are you running at??? you might want to get a glide... I don't use one personally but people here swear by them

over wetting  all depends on what your lift is set at.....

I pre spray with detergent and  rinse with water or Ph balancing rinse... helps to eliminate carpet residue

I am quite new to cc. I want to move to TM .I notice the pump of TM is 3 to 5 GMP, much higher than a portable one. If I really use 3GMP,350psi, with roots 36 blower, does this cause overwet? How much flow rate do you guys usually use?
Two steps, pre-spray and rinse with detergent, leaves
chemical, detergent, in the carpet. Is this all right?
