I live in the US. The closest dealer where I can get truckmount service for any brand is two and one-half hours away. I've been using an old Hydramaster CDS. It works well, but I don't know how much life is left in it.

What kind of truckmount is easy to work on? I've heard that Butler's are easy and fast to fix, but I'm leaning toward a slide-in unit when the time comes. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I do fix my truckmount. But lately I'm fixing it too often. I want my next purchase to be easy and quick to repair when necessary. I have heard that Butlers are quick and easy to repair, but I would like to go with a slide-in unit.

I would like to know if anyone has recommendations for an reliable slide-in that is also easy to repair. (Of course, if you guys haven't finished with your regular bullsh*tting I'll just wait - all part of the fun).
