Hi guys,
I have a Porty for a year now and I do a good job cleaning but I keep losing jobs for not being "impressive", and it just takes too long!!

I have never worked with a truck mount before, so I really don't know what I should be looking for...
I know I need a used one because I can't afford a new one...:-)
What should I be looking for?
Where should I be looking?
How do I inspect it?
Any good or bad reviews on brands are appreciated....

Thank you for any advise.

Keep watching the clasifies. Lots of companies will be going out of business soon and you will be able to buy a good used one for .25 to .50 on the dollar shortly.

OH MAN! Tell me about it.. Maybe you have a crappy portable.. Maybe not!
Look for a entry level TM that sips gas.. HydraMaster 3.2 16HP B&S Vangard with a 36 blower is a nice entry level TM..Big%20smile My buddy has one..

And dont let anyone tell you there portable will blow this TM away.. If they do they are in la-la land..LOL

How much do you have to spend?  Do you own a van or a trailer for transporting the TM?  How handy are you with some tools? Do you know a good mechanic?

I personally dont like anything under a 20hp if you can avoid it.

thank you  for replying,

I can't afford much, my business is low volume, about $10,000, I'm thinking of getting a used one.
I have my own van, so I don't have to buy one, however if I can afford a truck mount with a van, I'd like that.

I'm not very handy and I don't know any good mechanic... so a simple to operate truck mount is preferred.

Thanks again
