Is it a need to have a merchant account to be able to take credit card and debit card payments or are you guys getting along without one? If so, do you tell your customer upfront that you only except cash or do you wait till you get in the house and finish the job?? |

I thought the equipment you use to accept credit cards was called a merchant account... Well, what do I need to purchase so that I can accept credit cards? And how much does it cost??
