The man Jim Darling may have passed away today.  But his contributions to this industry and to all the people he touched in one way or another will allow his name to live on for years to come.

Well said, Doug. If there were more people in the world like Jim, it would definitely be a better placeCry

oohhhh.... Thats so sad and shocking...I could feel the gush of blood to my heart as I just read this sad post....

Come unto me, ye who are weary and overburdened, and I
    will give you rest.

- Matthew 11:28

May the glory of god shine upon his family in this their time of need.  Jim is now in the arms of god peacefully smiling down from heavens above.

may peace be with us all...Jim you will live on in each of our hearts, and in our daily work with your many great accomplishments that you have left behind.

I used to call Jim "Mr. Industry Guru".

He was so funny, almost made me pee my pants laughing.

I'll miss his Friday afternoon calls.

I'll miss his sermons on the necessity of changing the way we clean.

Everyone I know who has met him, has been changed by his way of being.

I hope his family will be given the strength to go through these hard times.

Peace be with you Jim, you will never be forgotten.

Jim Darling, President and Owner of Chemspec Canada was not only one of K.K.’s  major suppliers, but was a neighbor and personal friend of mine and the staff at Kleen Kuip.

Jim traveled Canada coast to coast teaching the gospel of cleaning and was always willing to share his knowledge. Jim was known to teach his IICRC classes in a very entertaining manner.

Also, Jim heavily invested much time and effort into developing

Environmental and Safe Products. Jim was an innovator and front runner in our industry and will be extremely missed.

On behalf of all Kleen Kuip customers and staff, we sincerely offer our condolences to his family and Chemspec staff.

There will definitely be a greener place for Jim in Heaven.

Until we meet again Jim, may God hold you in the palm of his hands.

Your Associate and Dear Friend

Ted

There is bad news and then there is shocking news. Like me and everyone else that knew Jim, are shaking our heads wondering at the sense of it all.

Jim was a young man of 50 with zest and a genuine interest in making our world a safer place to live in. Ecogent and DFC environmental line of products was Jim’s baby and was just starting to take off. I sincerely hope that all his work does not go in vain and that we all have a hand in continuing the safer way of cleaning.

Life is so precious and you never know what the next moment will bring you. My heart goes out to his family and I will also miss the weekly shop talks and hockey conversations Jim and I would have about our kid’s games.

Huckmuck

Thank you for taking the time to inform us of Jim’s untimely passing. I know that the staff at Chemspec are a loyal and tight knit family that have been together for years, this will not be an easy time for you and the boys.

May God Bless you Jim

Gloria
