Well, I introduced myself somewhere else on the board, I apologize. I will add my info here too.
I own a residential cleaning service in Chicago and want to add this service to my business. Any help about machines, how much to pay people, etc. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

hi and welcome. I used to clean houses. I used to clean offices.
then I started carpet cleaning. I make more , much more in carpet cleaining. less head aches. YOu have to pay good people a living wage or they will leave you as far as machines to clean with, that depends on your budget. if you are poor, buy used, decent stuff. probably even if you have money you shoudl do this anyway. talk to people i started out with a couple of von schrader foam machines. they did fine. then I bought a little portable. it too worked good but left the carpet wet. then I bought a heated portable and finally a truck mount. every one has advantages. if you'd like to talk more email me at frankiechocolate@yahoo.com |

Hey All. I havent had to use my portable in so long that im not sure it still works. The grime this thing gets out when used the way it should is unbelievable. At work we still use our trucks but when the going gets tough the owner has my o.p come in and take care of the stuation.I like the truck mount all that power and heat, not to mention the burn marks on my legs.lol I just prefer my op when it comes to stains on cgd. The one building we take care of is115,000 sq ft and they sure do not know how to hit there mouths on a regular basis.Like i said hwe is great, and i think o.ps are great to. I have many happy customers with lots of referalls. I dont even advertise anymore. I dont want offend anyone just my pennies worth. Some drive fords and some drive a chevy. In this case i will choose my 69 charger with my hemi. Thanks

I have both a Butler TM and a CCS Comm Breeze. They both have their places. My Op is great for places where my Hoses wont reach and smaller commercial jobs...
But no way does it come even close to my Butler when I encounter the nasties.
