The Dow is going down this month as oil continues it's relentless climb upward. How high it is going no one really knows, but it is looking like a fuel shortage is almost a certainty if we have even "normal winter weather in the northern hemisphere this winter, so even a price of $90/barrel can't be ruled out. I made that prediction back on September 8th BTW, when oil was still trading in the mid-thirties a barrel. Why is this important? Because in all the history of the United States, no president has ever been re-elected if the Dow went down in October! And it is looking that it will continue going down as oil goes up.All reports indicate that oil prices will continue to rise right into November. So is Bush's goose cooked? |

Lee, F 9/11 movie was total crap. It was totally fiction, made up, hogwash that he HOPED would hurt the presidents campaign, now it has been bunked for the trash it was, but TOO MANY SAID, "if there is smoke thier is probably fire".

One thing for sure a move like that could never be made here in Canada. Because we have no leadership. I think you have to do something before you can do it wrong. So here the best thing is to do nothing. I guess making golf balls with Prime Minister's name on them could inspire a movie. But the great thing about a political debate is no one wins.

Interesting movie. I have been aware of the Bush family connections with the bin Ladens for many years now, so I know that part of it is true. Bush had no choice but to get their family out of there. If he had cracked down and held them there, he would have risked the close ties he and d**k Chaney have with that family come out during the interogations. That might have caused the Saudi's to launch an other embargo as well, which would have been far more devestating to the economy than the one in 1973 ever was.
