JUST GETTING STARTED

    Roger W. from Fresno California. Just would like to let everyone know there is a new guy on the block with no skills as of yet............I just purchased a Hydromaster Spitfire 3.2 unit used but top condition. Unit had 800 hours on it and I paid $3700 so I thought was a good deal, I'm installing the unit in a trailer this is my first unit and first time in the carpet business, any good tips????

What possessed you to get into the carpet cleaning business with no previous experience?

I'm going to take a course before i do anything I also have a friend that has the same type of machine. I'm trying to get my oldest son involve so he can have a job while attending school

I'm a HVAC TECH. and I do a lot of people and I came across a truck mount unit I figured I could make some change of it also. Now I’m going to take classes on carpet clean, so I’m not just going to jump out there with no experience. Now I’m thinking of having my machine install by the dealer but it doesn’t look hard at all to install, I’m installing it in a trailer any ideas? I think the only think I’m not sure about is the exhaust system hook up. I didn’t get any paper work on the unit have to wait until Hydramaster put me in their system.

terogew... you sound like you're on the right track....take a few classes...clean a few carpets...in no time you'll be a professional..
