YES DOUG.............I WAS PLAYING JUST THE OTHER NIGHT AND SNAPPED A D STRING..........I THINK I'LL TRY A LOWER GAUGE 9 TO 42 'CAUSE I DO ALOT OF BENDS..........SOMEONE TOLD ME IT'S NOT A 1969 LES PAUL CUSTOM BUT RATHER A 1954..........MAKES SENCE SINCE I BOUGHT IT IN 1969 AND IT WAS USED. I HAVE TO CHECK THE SERIAL NUMBERS ON THE GIBSON SITE TO SEE WHAT YEAR IT IS......WHY DO YOU WANT TO BUY IT.
I WAS LOOKING AT THE MALMSTEEN SIGNATURE FENDER STRAT WITH THE SCALLOPED NECK...........I HAD TROUBLE GETTING USED TO IT, NOT SURE IF I'LL BUY IT OR NOT..........HAVE YOU EVER TRIED ONE DOUG

Jack I wouldn't think they would of had the technology to make a custom in 1954. would that not be the body design?? Your playing is way beyond me. As far as the Fender I have not even seen one. I only get to check out the music stores when I get to the US or to the city? I haven't had my standard out of the case for probably over 6 months. Way too long.

RIK EMMIT IS A FINE GUITARIST , BUT I'M A YNGWIE MALMSTEEN COPY CAT.....I'VE BEEN PLAYING SINCE THE AGE OF 12 WHEN I STARTED TO TAKE MY FIRST LESSONS ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT I CAN PLAY BY EAR.......THAT WAS 40 YEARS AGO..............I DON'T PLAY AS FAST AS I USED TO........BUT I CAN KEEP UP...........
