Somtimes if you dont wipe it off and it dries it could leave a white
residue on furniture. Not somthing we want to get called back
for. If you read the back of the product it says to do so.
Maybe they wrote that for the heck of it?

the problem I see with using 3m Scotchguard is that the average Joe can buy it like Cosco and the like. So as a add-on sale itd kinda hard. wouldn't you'all think? Both have their pros and con. Scotchguard is oil based, teflon is water based. I'll let in experienced cleaners sort-out the difference.

3M makes SCOTCHGARD. I don't know what Scothguard is? a genaric. All 3M Scotchgard is not solvent based either.
