Ok I been looking at the Rotovac and think this machine will help get carpets clean and save my back. Looking at information on the Rotovac, but they lack info  only a user will can give you. Ok I have a portable machine 300PSI 2 stage vac with heat. Using this machine with the Rotovac. I understand there are several spray heads that one can use, and don't seem to find any information on them. Do I just use what comes with the Rotovac or buy extra for back up.? Do they clog up like the wand does.? And is it easy to change them .? Also has anyone bought the scrub heads that you can get for the Rotovac for tile and grout tile.? If so what do you think of the scrub heads.? Can you scrub carpets with them without tearing up the carpet.?And if you have anything else to add which will help me would appreciate it very much. Thanks

Rotovac 360, A Wise Choice Upper

Answers: Your portable with heat already has 2 cords and the Rotovac will add one more cord. You can turn off the heat when Rotovac'ing and you are back to 2 cords. A circuit locator would be a wise choice if you decide to use multiple cords for safety reasons. Buying extra jets is a good idea so you can clean wetter or dryer, it's your choice.

You should also look at an inline filter on the Rotovac to keep the jets from clogging (optional). The scrub heads are for hard surface and grout only. They do an excellent and profitable job. Although if you are cleaning a seriously trashed hard surface I would suggest something with a little more weight.

i think the rotovac is too slow. im thinking of selling it. Ive used it all of 3 times since ive had it. im wanding with a glide and i cant bare to do those slow passes over and over and over again, and thats just to dry it.

I am assuming you are speaking Roto Vac and not Roto Vac 360.

If you switched I am sure you would be happy.  I look at the Roto Vac original as a unit that will go beyond cleaning and restoring a trashed carpet. Yes be patient it is Slow but Sure.

you are correct. It is the Roto Vac and not the 360. It cleans really good but it is so darn slow and it seems like no matter how many dry passes i make its still fairly wet compared to a glided wand. I need to check out the 360 live to see if its something we want at this time.
