Hi
 
I met someone today from JAE telling me how good his electric truck mount is . No he wasn'tselling it to me .
 
When I asked me how does he avoid the cicrcuit breakers poping up he told - easy - I plug it in the *ocker.Well, fair enough. 
 
 
 I have a Ninja 500 but I would like to buy a entry level TM  ONLY because I have a bad back - nop other reason at all. Dragging hoses should be much easier the draging Ninja in those tiny corridors/staircases town houses in Auckland
 
I woudl liike to know what do you think about the electric tm and who are its suppliers . I shall import one by myself from the States, eventually

From what I can see the best solution for me will be the Euro truck mount because of its 220/240 V power installation the same we have here in New Zealand.
 
I am waiting for BANE CLEAN TO quote me the price.

You can see from my mails that I am hesitating between Bane Klean and Spitfire 3.2, both entry level truck mounts. I still don't know the price of both.
BTW, can you please tell me if Ross Craig is from  Auckland and his contact so I can at least see your equipment. The link you gave to me doesn't work
 
Can you give me the price for Bane klean please Euromount

Bane is huge here in Indiana. I have been to there facility they are good people and will really work with you. I am personally looking into getting one of there truck mounts for my next truck.

Ross Craig is from Lower Hutt. I believe thT HE KNOWS AN AWFUL LOT ABOUT Electric Systems.
 
You want maximum performance w/o the tripping of breakers. That's a hassle.

I am not sure of European electrical codes, but in North America, all household lighting and receptacles (unless they are dedicated) are fused at 15 amps, regardless of the voltage, this 15 amps must run your heater, blower  pressure pump and line loss to the truck, I have seen some  residential electrical systems running at close to that 15 amps, so how would you clean their carpet?, I don`t mean to squash a potential sale, but it is nice to be self suffecient, and if you carry a genny, why not just get a slide in tm... Good Luck

Ed,

How would you compare the effectiveness of a totally optioned out Recoil 3 to, say, a Boxxer 421 or 427? Performance, maintenance, etc? I'm not sure when I'll expand, but I want to plan for it. I'd rather have a "portable truckmount" if possible.

Well just moments ago (yes, really) I received a comment/testimoinal from our UK Distributor of our (CE approved)SCORPION-3 super-charged system (European model version of our popular RECOIL-3HP system), and here was his remarks:

Ed: You will be pleased to hear this

 

This customer has been through 12 truck mounts and is semi retiring he tried the Scorpion-3 and said he could have saved plenty of money over the years had he known earlier.!!!

 

He is currently running 150ft  of 2” hose from it, ( he has my demo machine)

And, that was without the use of our origional POWER BOOSTER System either.

Therefore, let me say that the other TM's you had mentioned are very nice models; however....................I doubt that they would do better than our SCORPION-3, period. And, especially if one adds modular components like very hot propane heater, or etc.

Dude, Do yourself a favor and buy a REAL TM,  18hp-26hp, 36-45 blower.
 
I will NEVER go back to a electric unit. I've hade 4 different portys and 2 TM's...You will be so much happier with a REAL TM.
 
Don't waste your money. Some of what is said about ETM's is "HYPE".. Don't fall for it.
