Does anyone here provide this service as an add on to carpet cleaning? I use my rovac power vac to do it and it pulls alot out, i dont use the uvc light and spary other use, seemd like over kill to me, uvc is only a surface killer and so is the spray and if you just vacummed the mattress is as clean as it can be.  I dont know, maybe they have to use the uvc and spray because the dirtdevil looking vac cant remove all the dust mites?

The key to dust mite cleaning is to remove the feces, scales and crap with a TM or HEPA vac. This is what triggers reactions.

Regular vac is just redistributing the allergens.

Killing the dustmites can be accomplished by vapour steam.

I'd rather remain dumb.......nobody bothers a fool................as long as you're dumb you always think you're doing a good job

It's never a factor if the job is well done..but rather if the job is perceived to be well done.

PERCEPTION IS EVERYTHING

Empire Mike,

To purchase a hot steamer you can buy them very expensive or you can get a good one that works well and looks professional for approx. $1500 to $2500 US Dollars.

We found out that when you ask customers if they want their mattress cleaned they say no because they are embarrassed to let you see it.

Everyone should clean their mattress every 6mths..............but Ted is right.........most women would be too embarrassed to say yes to the job........however if your providing the service.........no harm in asking.

Using your rotovac seems a little extreme to me. How wet do you leave it........and how long does the average mattress take to dry?
