Still struggling with price. I want to charge by sq/ft but can't make up my mind. I'm the only cleaner in the area, slightly out of Winnipeg. Anybody in the viscinity that can give some numbers? I'm sitting anywhere from .22c a sq/f to .26c. I may be in the ball park but don't really know. In the city, I've called a few cleaners, and there all over the place.

Price competitive within your market... Too high and not many will call... Too low and you cut your throat......

I thought for a minute you would have to dual wand. But I guess 10,000 sq. ft. per hr. is normal for a one man operation for the GTA.

I have about 8,000 sq.ft of carpet in my restaurant and  every month I go through at least 3 carpet cleaners giving me quotes as low as .08 all the way to .22 ( average being .12 ) some tell me that they will first shampoo then deep clean with a truckmount (.22 ) just steam clean with a truckmount  (.12 - .16 ) most offer .08 -.10 using portables 2 guys

1 cleaner told me he will come with 2 truckmounts 5 guys, shampoo then deep clean, dry the carpet using 20 dryers, then scotchgard the entire carpet for 50 cents sq. foot........that's $ 4000.00 to clean a carpet that was originally purchased for $ 7,000...............
