Are you serious? I have never heard of anyone doing that. By the time you go in and out you could have the furniture moved? Savings & wear minimal at most.

Yes, I'm serious, If your out their all day 10-15min here and there could add up to 1-1.5hrs idling v.s. all out.. The other day it took me 20min to get a big room ready for extraction and had to mix some more prespray.. But only 1 min to set my tm to idle. 20min full blast or idle.???? I choose idle. What do the rest of you do? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ doug = full blast steaminpile = full blast john L = idle

I have a HF (use it the most) pepsi sprayer ( I like it for commercial jobs) and an electric (I like it for scotchguard)
can't beat a hydroforce for empties or nasties |

I have a Cleanco Compact, I took off the high idle switch and replaced it with a choke pull off switch, as the airflow is restricted it pulls the idle up, this idea came from the way my old cleanco classic worked, if I pull the hose off the wand for about 5 seconds, the truck reverts to an idle, saves on gas..200 deg. stat=180-185 at the wand, that works fine for me, I also have a short length of hp hose that I fill my pump sprayer with, this cycles the cold water in the hose and fills the pump sprayer with hot water..

Dream on son 200 deg atm does not = 185 at the wand unless you are cleaning with the tm inside the house. Who in this day and age uses a pump sprayer to apply pre spray?
