That's a nice beginner's porty. Says "Truck mount power in a portable".

That is far from the truth. Don't know why the porty maker's say that.

NOT TRUE NOWHERE.

What does the HV stand for?  I have a 4yr old 1003 speedster.  2 two stage vacs, 2000 watt heater, 100psi pump.  Of course its NO comparison to the truckmount.  If you do enough passes it will clean carpet.
CCT, UFT, OCT, CRT, RRT, WRT, SMT, FSRT, JTC, JSR, JWR, MTC a great life, if you don't weaken.

Dump the water 3 times and it will take me 2 hours. Yesterday I did 2 area rugs and 3 Staircases with 4 landings it took me 1.5 hours. The area rug was 250 sq ft and the other was 50 sq ft

I too am thinking about buying the Mytee 1003HV.  It features Dual 3 stage vacs, heat, 0-450 PSI pump, and a power prime system.

I thought you had a tm??
It is not how often did you dump the recovery tank??
What the hell kind of question is that?
The question is how much water did you put into the carpet that is still there. The real question is how many time did you fill the clean tank compared to how many times you dumped the recovery tank?
Just My opinion
