So how do you keep your TM or portyTM water from freezing during the wintertime? is there a chemical used, used like the windshield wipers solution?

keep your porty inside at night. and park your TM in a heated garage.

We use windshield wiper fluid through the water system and a oil heater leaning against the heat exchanger.

insulated or not i would think things would still freeze. i had to replace the pump in my ninja last winter. not fun. and that wasn't over night that going job to job during the day.

It stays warm in your van when you turn the heat on right...so why would it be freezing if you have a oil heater inside???? It shouldn't......

Greg.......that job to job must have been far apart and temperature had to be well below zero for your Ninja pump to freeze that fast.....maybe you took too long of a lunch hour and don't want to admit it.
