Yes, today oil hit another record at $65/barrel.IMO, it is on it's way to the $90 that I predicted some months back it was going to. With the US hurricane system just getting started now, with the potential to shut in over 25% of the entire US production, the price is going nowhere but up. I still hold the $50 calls I bought months ago when oil was trading below $50 and am going to hold till the $90 target is reached.I expect that to happen in October or November, which is only 2 to 3 months away now. I am sure that shrewd buyers like Chuck got in at the bottom too, and are ready to make a killing as well.

I am sure you picked up a dozen calls too Chuck. You are going to make a ton of money. $12,000 every dollar up. That is $480,000 by the time it reaches $90. Remember, it was me that tipped you off to what was coming.

ken...I didn't buy and I don't think you did either.

Oil will hit $90, but when is the question.  It may be 25 years from now and a loaf of bread will be $25.  By then you will have paid out so buch time premium on your quest for $90 oil that just like the glide biz...YOU WILL LOSE!

I'm done arguing trading with you because I don't trade commodities and niether do you, but I'm in stocks

NOTE: ken, look at the proper usage of 'either' and 'neither' in my post....I have taught you yet another thing!

Well Chuck, you are wrong again, because I DO trade in Stocks, Commodities and Options for 30 years now and have made much more than I have lost over those years.I can't think of even one year where I was not trading in all those years.

However, you have taught me one thing in your last post; that you don't know how to spell "NEITHER".

I don't trade commodities and niether do you

My spelling is poor and I'll admit that, but that was a typo, look below in the post where it is correct.

BUT...my grammar is spot on!

I see where you used 'too' where you should have used 'two'....that is ~3rd grade grammar big boy.

ken;

SOMEDAY YOUR PREDICTION WILL (Naturally) COME TRUE without question.

I remember also that you made that prediction at least a year (+)ago.

But that's like one predicting today, that the cost of Homes and Hatchets will cost more money in the months ahead to. Those kinds of---long term---predictions are quit easy in anyones book.

Here is my prediction:

All of us here will not live to be 110 years old. In fact, most of us here will be residing with our Maker in the next 20-20 years. Lets see if that comes true.

Good Fortune to all;

Ed Valentine

Ed: Long term predictions are easy to make. Notice what I said though:

I still hold the $50 calls I bought months ago when oil was trading below $50 and am going to hold till the $90 October or November target is reached.I expect that to happen in October or November , which is only 2 to 3 months away now.

October or November

In other words, only 2 to 3 months away Ed, NOT long term at all. I remember it was you that said WW3 would break out if it happened. Was that a long term prediction too, Ed?Or a short term one........... Or do you have some short term insider info we should be aware of?

Thank you Ed.

I did make the original prediction almost a year ago. I made it when oil was trading in the mid thirty dollar range BTW. But people being what they are, do not point out that I got the first $30 of the rise since then right. That is not easy to do with time lines of a year or so.Now I am saying that IMO, the last $25 of that rise is imminent, and will happen by November at the latest. Am I right? Nothing is guaranteed except death and taxes of course, but I have a large financial wager on it so I am not afraid to put my money where my mouth is. If it pays off bigtime, you guys are going to see me celebrate in a really big way in my product offers. Stay tuned.If it doesn't, I have made lots of money on the options I hold to this point, so it has been a very lucrative trade even now.

You claim to have bouht April calls at $42, they were in the money when you claim to have bought them...I bet they would have been expensive, had they been real...If you were so sure you should have bought futures...and made even more, but it isn't really real anyway...AND you sure know how to call 'em WAY after you claim to have bought them...

HEY ken...I'll bet you that the Bears will be the Superbowl XX Champs!

KEEP DREAMING kenniboi!

Don't get too upset, a gallon of Poland Spring bottled water currently costs more than a gallon of gas in the U.S.

Curious? How much is gas in the GTA right now? $USD. I'm at $2.45/gallon for regular and $2.65/gallon for premium. That's in New Hampshire.
