Anyone else do this....If the custy mention's "do you know anyone that paints or doe's house cleaning"...... while your cleaning the carpet....Yea, I've picked up some good cash doing this........

Anyone else????? If not, why not???????? It's easier than cc'ing....

painting, maid service, handyman stuff....It's extra cash and you have a custy for life....Top quality work of course.........

If I would of added the maid house cleaning bi-weekly 20yrs ago when i started cc'ing .. I would have an empire bigger than the "maids"...that's in my area....

Many custy's asked for that service through out my years and i said NO... Think about it you newbees... If i could turn back the clock i would add this service.....

your going to spread yourself toooo thin.... vocus grasshopper....  get someone to do it for you, where they'll give you a cut.

I have a few guys like that.....

NR uses carpet cleaning to get in the door to sell other services, which works.

but you can't do everything yourself

NR does none if it so thats ok for him

I can't paint to save my life

Be a painter or be a cleaner make up your mind which rabbit you want to chase.

Now if you want to run a maintenance business that does all kinds of sh*t that's ok as long as you get the right guy to do each job.

While you are researching the latest paint technology we are all educating ourself about carpet cleaning....see what I'm sayin?

Be like ken...

Talk about all you do, but in reality don't do much and do it poorly to boot!

I only do what I do, and do it well.  I refer other work to companies that specialize in that type of work, and do it well!

I put this line on my business cards: " If you don't see it, just ask" Most of my income is from services i don't advertise and at least 50% of that is from referrals to local contractors that do that one service. I promise them referrals, i mark up the price, they do the work., customer is happy.

I say diversify as much as you can, just don't do any more work than you have to. At the end of the day, all of my money is green, doesn't matter how much i had to work for it or if someone else did the work for it.
