Have you ever been to a trade show USA/Canada that was worth your 2-3 days you spent there???

The CSSA trade show was total crap this year but only a 20km drive. Now I'm considering something out of town.

Unless you are primarily in the Jan San industry, I have to agree with you. The carpet cleaning industry is too small in Canada to hold a show specific too it. Besides, most manufacturers of big equipment other than Cleanco, are located mostly in the USA, and they will not hold a show in Canada most of the time with 90% of the cleaners on the USA side of the border. If you want to attend some good shows, there is only 2 to consider IMO. The Best and biggest is the Connections shows held in Vegas every year. This year there will be about 3000 cleaners attending it.It runs Sept 22 to 25th in the Hilton there. They also have a smaller version with about 400 attending in Florida every April as well. The other show I like is the ASCR shows held every February in Florida , Colorado, or Palm Springs, CA. With about 400 in attendence, it comes at a nice time when winter is still going on here in Canada. But if you only are going to 1 per year, I would suggest you make it Connections. It is the biggest by far and the best out there.

There are also Summerfest and Winterfest...while they are smaller they are a good time...kenni didn't mention them because he was told to stay away from Winterfest this past year!  Can you imagine being a bitdhot like ken thinks he is, but unwanted at an industry event???

Connections is a lot of fun...ken sleeps in his van and pulls glides out of his socks!

Don't worry Jack. You never got any "sock" models.
