With the price of Gas in the GTA and the lack of parking...and noise restrictions...and dirty water dumping fines...the cost of insurance..the cold winters....

paytoilet you're the clueless rug sucker.....

but I guess you're right I could always live in the dam thing

Apples and orange comparisan here. The Vortex makes alot of sense to own where Mike lives. Not only is the weather mild all year round, so garaging it is not needed, but the rates that Mike gets in his local trade area are about 3X higher than those in the GTA get on average. Mike makes a very great return on his investment of that machine, so it is one of the very best investmants he has ever made, after my glide of course.

To own this machine in the GTA is a much tougher decision. With the lower pricing there, and the shorter cleaning season, only a very large company with lots of available cash flow can make it pay. It would kill almost all small cleaners every winter with it's garage costs and monthly payments .

I think it would be cool to have one but it's just not for me or my biz.

with most of my residential the homes are usually 1800 sq.ft. or less and I'm usually only there to clean 4 or 5 rooms so dual wanding them to me seems silly

most of my commercial work in my little town really isn't very big either

my apartments, well,it's pretty rare that I get two in the same complex so once again dualling isn't much of an option unless I wanna run 1000 ft. of hose

but if I were doing huge jobs where 2 or more wands were going at once I would look more serious at one

and I DO believe that a vortex has to draw attention.......heck even my Powermatic seems to draw attention

I don't think the Vortex would burn as much as fuel as my old Chevy/Cleanco on gas..........and keep in mind that there would probably be more than one wand or tool going at once

but for me personally,it's more productive to have two vans on either end of town going at the same time.

Impressive machines though

A.K.A.

A vortex could work here....  I just think it might be more headaches than benefits...

a couple of small truck mounted units in a few vans are long ways better..

The only thing really impressive about that set up is the truck size... one could but 5 spit fires in that van with 10 portables and get the same results...lol

I know I'm being an arse
