I tell them right upfront . " If you are looking for price alone ,we most
likely will not be in the running as we have been in the business for 23 years , we guarantee our work and I will be one of the technicians doing the job. " With that confidence there is a perceived value. They think ( and rightly so ) that they are getting more than your average lowballer that just hired a new tech last week. That is why I can charge more than a beginner, because I can impress on them the value of experienced workmanship, ( and back it up ) and cash in on what I have rightfully earned . |

So. It will be their loss not yours. Since when is is it smart business to
want to clean every carpet out there at the price .... They..... want to pay. If you can't prove to your existing customers that the cleaning they just got is worth so much more than the $6.00 guy, then you deserve to loose that customer to the six dollar guy. The customer must " PERCEIVE" that your cleaning is worth every bit of what you charged them and they will be back, and they will never pay any attention to the $6.00 guy. Developing long term relationships is what a good solid business is based on. Edited by danmarck82 |
