Hello,
i do mostly multi housing cleaning, restoration and flood damage.
i have a NAMCO truckmount www.namcomfg.com.
i have done a few modifications to it and looking to do a few more.
i added a auto fill valve wich is a very nice addition.
i would really like to add pump out i have been looking around at a few
options but they are either real expensive or they just have to low gpm.
what i am thinking of doing is picking up a submersable utility pump, i
have a pretty good power inverter that would run a 110v pump.
i seen 12 volt models but im not sure if they are powerfull enough.
im looking at pump the can push solids pretty easily.
i have a good in-line filter before my waste tank so verry little debry
actually gets in my tank.
now here is my concern when the pump is not on what prevents air from
eneterin my tank trough the pump out line would i need some type of
back flow preventer?
also will the pump actually be able to pump water out while the tank is
under negative pressure from the blower?

Thank You,
Chris

I use 110 v  4/10 HP submersible pump. I just run an extension cord to an outlet . Only use a couple times a day. I have 75 gallon waste tank . Works for me. I use 5/8" garden hose.

Ok, maybe stupid questions.

How did you mount the pump?  Inside the tank?

Did you use some kind of check valve to stop backflow?

Any other tips you could give us?

CCT, UFT, OCT, CRT, RRT, WRT, SMT, FSRT, JTC, JSR, JWR, MTC a great life, if you don't weaken.

all you need is a 12V bilge pump.  Just buy one from a manufacturer. Is there room for a pump in your tank.  some manufactures like Pro Chem have an external trash pump that will mount on  your tank.  I  Have always just got the pump out option with the unit. We use 100 gallon waste tanks with a pumpout.
