How do you know whats really in the Cleaning Solutions that you buy??? Is it only from the label??? Is it from reading the MSDS???? Even if all Solutions where identified on the label would you know what they where??? or what the can or Can't do??? Unless you're a cleaning solution fanatic..I think not...We only have to trust what we read. I use 100% environmental biodegradable soap...or so I'm told...and so it says on the pail.....There is no government enforcement or federal inspectors in a chemical plant.....so basically all we can do it hope, trust and believe in what we read. this is a public service announcement from: Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaner... P.S. We in the cleaning world like to refer to the things we use as cleaning solutions....not chemicals...no one wants chemicals on the furniture and carpets. |

Well Stanley I dream of being a carpet cleaner. You can be like jackblack and buy your chemicals out the back door with the only thing on the MSDS sheet is a skull and cross bones or you can but out the front door with some confidence of what you are buying. I believe if you are cleaning carpets as with everything name recogonition should play a big part in your selection of what product you purchase. You should have faith in your supplier to guide you when necessary, go on the net and investigate some of these products or just ask people on this form what they use. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. These words of wisom or lack of are the sole opinion of the author.

Doug ....my friend.....so basically your telling me that you trust in the chemicals you buy 100%...you trust whats on the label 100%you have broken down and test all the ingredients on your pet bunny Bugs..and he's still alive..... My point is...we trust what we are told to trust.. They do it with food...why wouldn't they do it with chemical |

Stanley: WE are not chemists. So we put our faith in them. This is not a perfect world. It is up to you to make the best decision based on the knowledge you have and the information you are provided with. This as Jim says is not rocket science. You can either complicate it or you can simplify it. But one thing for sure you are not going to change it at least not by yourself. The products are there all you have to is ask for them and pay a little more for them. Keep in mind that to use these products would rerquire a change in the way you do things. This is my opinion all you have to do is ask.

I pesronally like to try any product regardless of what anyone has to say and believe me I had one of the most convinceing salesman I have ever encountered. I will concede I was convinced to try it and I will. I am not sure what to mix it with coke or gingerale, I think someone told me it is good with pineapple juice so I will let you know. |
