Many of them do, but we must be professional and NOT EVER let the customer see we are using them. Professionals use professional products, but in a pinch it is GOOD to know what will save your tail..LOL |

If you don't know what your looking for or who to talk to...I say buy your chemicals off the shelf spend the extra... If you know where to go...and who to see like me....I say save the extra.... I only copy from good chemicals...things I like to use...these are mostly custom made for me...using ingredients from the break downs...we test test test until I get something that works... |

Stanley: I have not been in the converstaion for a long time. But if you are going to change to carpet laundering you need to change what you think. 1) You are using a slow activateing cleaner you need long dwell time and more water. 2) The rinse you definately need more rinse. It is the rinse cycle that cleans. The dwell time sespends the soil and the rinse removes it. That is why if you don't use enough cleaner to syspend the soil and enough water to rinse the soil and cleaner out you have wasted your time 3) Example improper rince in your washing machine. when the clothes dry the tide goes back to chrystles and your pockets are full with tide and dirt. Dishwasher. Dishes look clean but have a blue film 4) This i2 one you will understand.Shampoo your hair, don't rinse it wait a couple of hours and vaccuum the shampoo out. RINSE RINSE. Thats is where tm units do marvalous the ability to use large amounts of water and extract it. DRYING TIME is very important. Very few consider the importance of the rinse. |

Doug...have you tried it.....yes all this maybe good what your saying....But from the sounds of it you've never tried it.... Do you have a piece of old nylon carpet in the garage or basement...pull it out...divide it into two...clean one with regular carpet cleaning soap...and the other with a laundry detergent....and tell me if either side looks or feels different.... don't do anything different.... use the same dwell times... use the same psi... and the same amount of vac.... wait till it's dry...and then repost to me... Don't repost until you've tried it...don't be scared....Laundry detergent very user friendly...I'm sure it won't bite....lol my point is..... the make up is not much different than what you use now on carpet.....actually it's much safer because it has direct contact with skin.... |

Stanley: Dishwashing liquid does better job of cleaning your van than car wash detergent but Just does,'t rinse off a well. But the greese cutters sure cut threw the road grime. But what I am trying to say is unfortunately there is no wonder cleaner for everything. Certain products are reccommended for certain jobs. What happens over a periode of time with the tide. Does it become cohesive after awhile when humidity changes, have you done a detergency tese a couple of days after it dryed? All I can say if you are happy with it I am happy for you. This of cource is just my opinion. You can change your name to Tidie Man 1 cycle Cleaning Services. |

Stanley Carpet cleaning products have built in inhibitors to eliminate corrosion on equipment being used. Maybe your saving cost on your soap, but be sure to put it in the bank because you will need it to spend on your repairs. |

Stanley: I cleaned my livingroom carpet with tide. Downside I couldn't get it into the clothes dryer and I couldn't get it to hang on the clothes line to get that just cleaned fragrance. How the hell do they do that on TV. Now I know what I did wrong it is the the Wool Lite commerical that they fit the upholstery into the washer. Isn't it? I could be wrong I know I was once before but it wasn't my fault. Hey but thie is only one man's opinion.

I have had over 100 technicians work for me. Many were Bigshots like Stanley. MANY tried using Tide or similar. You could always find out who used the laundry detergent because of the deep brown traffic areas that appeared earlier than they should. Too many optical brighteners also cause a yellow degradation to the carpet over a period of time and possibly pink spots on 5th generation carpet. You sayyou are busy, etc. Are you running 50-80% repeat business??I bet not. Stanley you say you have tested this. Have you tested it with real life traffic running across it for a year? You are proving yourself to be a cheapskate and a real unprofessional carpet cleaner. Truly the kind to watch out for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOO big fellow. Your are not going to be very popular. Can't we just all get along?? Lee!! What can I say you have said it all. I couldn't have done quite that well either. Experience speaks for itself. Repeat business? Would that have anything with rapid resoiling?

Doug......he is welcome to speak his opinion.....he's guys use tide...so he should know.....lol not all his cleaners are certified...lol ...just heard that one of his portable guys isn't certified and doesn't believe in it...and he works for LEE....lol What you guys are saying is all wrong....If your spraying it on with your hydro force whats it going to corrode Adwa?????and your rinsing it out...how the hell are you getting rapid resoling doug??? Lee I will believe what you say....cause you said your guys use tide...and you've witness the results...yellowing and browning... Can some one tell me what the PH of tide is.....the mixture is 10oz to 1 gallon of water As long as you PRE-SPRAY it on and RINSE it out any soap can be used...dish soap...bath soap....laundry soap...dog soap...car soap...the list is endless....and all with give you good results.... Adwa...Lee...and Doug the chemical supplier and and two IICRC guys would expect you to say anything different....lol I like to test test and test...I deal with Chemical makers....Don't trust what you see on the label....and just because it says it on the bottle doesn't mean it's 100% true... No knock against any of the products you use...I'm not cheap...I just look for alternatives that work.... My lab guy tested attack dry slurry and formula 77...he laughed and I quote"how much do you pay for this???.....this is not better than a simple laundry detergent" I got a slurry from him...that cost me 50 dollars for a 50 lbs pail...I've used it for the last 4 years everywhere...no yellowing...no browning...I USE IT IN MY OWN HOUSE which I clean every four months for the last four years...Other that traffic wear on the steps and by my easy chair the carpet is in perfect condition..... My machines is in no way corroded...I'm my biggest repeat customer...I do no different than what I do for myself... I don't think any of you are really in the trenches....you may know about carpet cleaning...but your hands aren't dry and chapped from pulling hose like mine. never did say I use tide...but would never said it couldn't be used Mr. StanleySteamer The Peoples Carpet Cleaner |

And just what the frick does a chemist know about carpet cleaning? Whats his specialty? C'mon bud, become a star, leave Mickey Mouse behind. |

GIVE UP BOYS ,!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's like beating your head against the wall. Stanley probably takes his Levy's to his seamstress and gets them copied to a cheaper brand. Little Benoit's to him Levy's will last for years, Stanley is happy to change his jeans every four months. Not to worry Stanley they all wash well with Tide! Edited by Adwa |
