We cruise  in a 1966 corvette and a 1966 ChevyII SS with the L79 Package.  Have had them for 15 or 20 years now. couldn't afford them in todays dollars.  Put about 100 miles on them a year.Guitar

Nightrider the Vette is my wife's car.  The Nova is a different story. It is a head turner a nice 66 a one year only car as they only made the L79 option available in 66. I think they made 10 of them in 67 as they were just too much power for a 2600 pound car.  That is why so many of them are on the drag strip is because they are so light. It took me a while to track down some of the orignal parts. I purchased it from a man who was 8 years restoreing it.  His wife threw out all the chrome.  When tracking down parts in the US most people would not sell  me the chrome parts till I sent them the vin#s to prove to them it was an original SS car. I enjoy the 100 miles or so I put on it each year.  No shortage of people wanting it.Guitar
