I have always wanted to be my own boss. Today I was forced into an early retirement at 58 yrs old. I need to do something for the next 4 or 5 years that will clear me about 1k a week. I have enough severance money to purchase a used truck and equipment, and don't need to be profitable for several months.
I have considered this business for years...as an option , and now I need to make a decision on what I want to do..... I know all things are variable, but is it possible for this business to meet my financial needs? I have always thought that it should way exceed my needs with proper contacts, advertising and quality of work. I know someone I can probably apprentice with for a month or so to gain some of the skills required. is there some training rather than apprentice on the job that i should look into?? Any advice is appreciated
