I am currently looking at a Ninja Warrior 500psi with heat and Janlink JL2600 also 500psi with heat.
My concern are the vacuums and the water pickup numbers.
Any guildance would be helpful.

Stick with the regular Ninja UNLESS the Warrior has 2 3 stage vacs in it. The 2 stage model does not have enough lift to it.

Could I throw my two cents into the ring? Earlier this summer I bagan a search for a portable machine and came across the Cross-American Recoil 3XPS. It is proving to be a great machine for me. It also has many options that make it very versatile. You would need external heat though...which can be a blessing on the maintenance side of things. It also comes with Great Customer Service! There are lots of good machines out there. Find the one that meets your needs and then go make money! I wish you the best in you purchase of a new machine! |

I can't reconcile you wishing him the best in his search for a machine, while at the same time mentioning the Recoil. My guess, based on your post, is you are working for Cross-American. The reason being, you type the name exactly, which makes it show up on search results, which generally indicates an attempt to generate sales. Most people would not fully qualify the name. Also, you closed the letter in a manner Ed V. likes to close. This isn't proof, so I could be wrong, but I doubt I am. |

No doubt Mr Ed uses a lot of aliases to praise the Recoil and market it.

LOL! You are just kidding, right, Canoer? You don't actually think that we believe that you do not have an association with Mr Ed after hearing him commentate your video, do you? While the video portrays a nice portable setup, why not just talk about the machine and the setup instead of trying to pull the wool over our eyes?

I did not say anything bad about the Recoil above, did I? All I ask is that you don't pretend to be impartial when it comes to your promotion of the unit.

First of all you assume that was Ed (not Mr.Ed) behind the mike. The video also shows the capabilities of my set-up. A video along with a complete profile (which you never have displayed) goes a long way towards ones credibility.
Comments of the Recoil after 16 months? No maintenance issues,100 to 150 ft runs (extra dry strokes ,air movers), Complete initial investment paid off in less than one year! ,Repeat customers and referrals . Do I really need to post past threads containing your bashing of the Recoil and Ed V? There are many more threads (TMF) concerning problems with Mytee products than most if not all extractors. I try to remain neutral with their products since I do not possess one. Do you own a Recoil. What do you have ? FlipPhone ? Take some pics/video !! JIM |

okay guys, it appears I've only got one reply about my question. I am leaning toward the Ninja Warrior as the Janilink company has no service centers in or around my area which according to them I would have to ship it back to them for any repairs. The main concern is I need something with a strong water lift, also the high psi with heat. Any suggestions on other quality units. The recoil unit I wasn't impressed for the money.

I would go with the most attractive machine your local supplier deals. The business relationship is worth the small compromise. You don't have to have the "best machine" to do good work. You just have to know what you're doing.
But then, having a 2" hose helps.

Do as Michael says. I was only showing you what has worked well for me.
Good Luck I have learned that more of a profile will earn you more responses. |

In my opinion. all of the present portables are flawed, some much more than others and it would be best to purchase one that has the most potential. I recently bought a Mytee M5 with their new Wart Hog booster and the M5 is very good in most ways except for the following;
1. The body is too weak and the top collapses when the machine is in operation. I'm not sure what the long term effects would be but it should definitely have a thicker plastic body than it has. I would much rather have a heavier machine if it meant that the body would be more durable.
2. The Wart Hog (or whatever they call it) booster is nearly unusable as it comes from Mytee because the small waste tank ball filter (for the auto dump) clogs within minutes, causing the machine to overflow with waste water, damaging the vac motor and spilling filth on your customer's floor (if it is inside the house). I tried multiple fixes including using two knee-highs but even the slightest amount of hair/fur/sand etc. clogs the little ball filter and causes the machine to overflow with waste water as described above.
The little ball filter is suitable for the clear water tank NOT a waste tank. Somebody needs to tell Mytee or any other portable manufacturer who uses this setup that this renders their machine's auto dump useless. My Hyper Hippo portable came with a 8" tall cylindrical filter that took a long time to clog and was easily cleaned after each job. With the addition of an inline knee-high, it was never an issue. The little ball filter in the Mytee portables/boosters is horrible.
My plan is to fabricate a cylindrical filter (like the one in my Hippo portable) for the Mytee M5. I have only had the Wart Hog Booster for a few days and have not even been able to use it for more than a room because of the waste dump issues so I need to formulate a solution for this machine as well.
