Interior Care is a company you can make money with if you have your systems down well.
I don't see anybody quitting.
I believe most of their techs own houses or could get one in the near future.
I had a falling out with one of the brothers which was most unfortunate so we don't do business anymore.
I just don't feel this thread is that fair.
Don't get me wrong Ken is Okay I am not saying that it didn't work out for your friend, but it has worked out well for many people.

OMG... they own homes...they haven't left???  this thread is totally fair...

Most of us have to sub to make a LITTLE extra money...really it's no big deal...you'll never get rich of it...and alot of times when you calculate everything out it's better you stayed home on your ass...

most of these companies you have to take the good with the bad...

the good?? maybe 4 jobs for the day

the bad? 1 min call in the gta average 80 bucks...at 35 - 45 %.....  and trust me  the owner wants you to go do it... or you'll never get a good day again..

so yes you make money ...but they take it back...

they don't pay you for no shows...if no ones is there you lose your gas and time..and your lucky to get a sorry

they want there money on your upsells...but if something gets broken you are on your own

they want the best treatment for their customers AT YOUR EXPENSE.. like a reservice...it cost for you to go back...but the owner doesn't pay you for that....

you could be working for them for years building a good relationship with their customers...you could be the reason why the customer even calls... at the end of the day ...that's the owners customer and what ever you have done over the years is null and void..

At least I don't sub because I want too...sometimes you just need the cash flow...

My service goes beyond the regular joe carpet cleaner...and it's hard to give that away subbing..

so I agree don't sub if you can help itWink

So somebody please break it down for me how this is better than collecting welfare.
Squeegee kids make better money LOL.

The say you get 30% BUT---BUT they take 10% off the top--so 30% of what?????
so why not quit??  Let david go out and do it...LOL

It's amazing so many owners that don't own any equipment and don't know a thing about how to clean...but they sure know how to count up the money at the end..LOL

Some get their kicks out of bitching about what the other guy gets instead of being greatful for what they themselves receive I guess.
Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?

Regarding subbing

I am curious, when you are stubbing what are some of the terms

What % do they take?

Are you restricted from ever doing business with their client?
