Not made as well as my glides Chuck. A greenglide is only a Greenglide nomatter who sells it. My sales have actually been going up since people started getting the 2005 book about a week back. Superglides will always be better made than Greenglides are, and better priced too. Our glides selling at $129 blow away inferior made glides that sell for $167 to $197US each. I welcome that kind of competition because it rises awareness of glides, but me and my distributors get the majority of the sales! I love it! lol |

SURE KEN!!!! Your glides are NOT better made, and I know a LOT more about machining that you do! Even at your cut rate pricing people are going to a vendor that they can trust....time to sleep in the bed you wetted in! Here's what yout target market (AND YOUR SHILL) are saying about you and your competition.....
wand suggestions post below was about a Big Boy 2 wand, but most have been about the Titanium. I'm 6'6 (was 6'7 before I started cleaning!) so which would best suit me?
I have two TI's...One is customized with a 6 inch extention... Re: wand suggestions Pual Slow learners... I bet I (or Someone) could sell a bunch of TI&GLIDE wands after they demo them at you know where... Re: wand suggestions LOL i got an email from Ken Harris about this thread. telling me the Ti wand is best for tall guys and he sells them for less than anyone and all that stuff..lol.. Ken if yer read this..im only 5'8" dont need a huge wand, it was just a question about the adjustable wand. Re: wand suggestions Jim...I got the email too. Nice prices, but not worth laying in ned awake at nights worrying if you're even gonna get your order. I'll pay the extra for the peace of mind. Re: wand suggestions Received my Greenglide yesterday. Ken does try hard but Greenie and Lisa deliver. I am looking forward to trying my 2 inch Prochem with a Greenglide. Running a 59 blower with a Prochem wand is next to impossible to push. So when I agreed to assume the delivery of the 2 wands offered by Aqua-Max , all original conditions were assumed likewise by Turboteck. I will deliver the wand alright, but when I am ready to do so. Hey Chuck! Update- that other shoe I was talking about just fell tonight!
Hydroforce just brought out their $39.95-$54.95 acetal glides tonight instead of waiting till next month as they were originally going to do. That means that as of tomorrow morning, all 400+ Hydro Force distributors will have access to much cheaper glides than Magic Wand will be selling. I don't forsee too many sales happening at $167 to $197 now, do you? LOL
BTW, since I found out that this was going to happen back in November, I have been getting ready for it. I have my SSS Pure Teflon glides ready for sale at $59 to $89 in all the same wand styles that Greenie makes glides for. I will be happy to challenge HF for sales in the marketplace with a superior built glide at the low end of the market, and provide cleaners with my Filled Teflon SS glides at $99 to $129US when they need a better glide that slides more easilyand lasts longer.Yep. Ken I understand the step you are taking, BUT I think you forget that character means a lot to people. Now I have seen glides from ALL of you, and quite frankly there is little comparison in quality. Also service has been much better with T and Greenie. It isn't ALL about price unless of course you are simply dealing like a bait a switcher with people who haven't heard of you nor your shenangans.
I like CHEAP, but consider service and reputation MUCH MORE. Time will tell, but I personally think you will find this to be a lot less of a "shoe drop" than you think it will be. |

What I find amusing is that kenni acts like this is his doing. But as I see it even if it were trure it is actually going to hurt ken more than T and G. Here's why...... They actually have other means of income, and this is just a side hobby. I have yet to know anyone (other than ken) who actually owns a raptor, aeroteck or any of his other imaginary inventions. They have real cleaning businesses that generate cashflow and profits. ken claims a buck a foot. Maybe that is his standard price, but by our man in the field report on the shape of his van he may not be cleaning much (at all) at that price. From the posts on the other board people just don't trust you and that is at any price level......

Ummm, what became of the Patents held by Ken, you know the ones no-one can find and the HR Patent that ( as Ken's story goes ) caused HF to quit selling Kenny's product and is the reason behind Ken's gracious warning to Greenie and Lisa that they will be buried by HR ? How come HF is no longer worried about HR Patents, now that they are working against Ken instead of with him ? ......and how come they aren't concerned about Kenny's Patents......... This "trap" that Ken has set is simply brilliant, I vote to put Ken on "The Apprentice" so he can straighten out Mr Trump too.
