Superglide Ken,

Thanks, honestly. I know you meant well and in good fun with the gasoline/match comment, and you cleared that up with some legitimate advice. I plan on replacing the carpet in the near future. For the time being, however, I used a chemical from Clausen's called Dual Cleaner/Sanitizer. I get it from my supplier through work. I am not a novice to cleaning, I've just never had to deal with pet stains.

As for you Nightrider, it was funnier when you didn't know the mistakes you made. You must have had your wife proof-read your second post, huh? Nice.

My search for help here is done. May God help any other people looking for sincere help here.

I don't know about anyone else on this forum, but we live in an age of knowledge at our fingertips.....If I wanted to know what chemical is best for pet stains.....I would just Google it, and I'm sure 100 different posts will show up.

If I would said " Yeah Sure I use CL200 Plus from Pets R Us " and that is only available in Quebec, what good would that be.....every carpet cleaner believes in his own products he buys, there is NO best product.....it either works for your applications or not.

I used many Brand name chemicals for a greasy carpet, and to be honest.....TIDE REALLY WORKS BEST FOR ME.

All I read om this site is " WHAT SHOULD I BUY ....." WHAT SHOULD I USE "....." SHOULD I SEND OUT FLYERS, POSTCARDS, OR GO DOOR TO DOOR " Just dumb useless posts is what people like to delight this forum with.

I have about 300 sq ft of carpet that needs to be cleaned to remove pet stains and odor. I have a puppy that is completely house broken except for two places in the house, leading me to believe the dog that lived here prior to us had the same issue. Can anyone suggest a solution or chemical to deep clean this using a commercial sized extractor? I have one available through work.

(If anyone has any advice for solutions to use on a microfiber sofa using the same extractor, I'd appreciate that too!)

Thanks everyone!
