Clarke has an autoscrubber called Boost and they say you can strip VCT with ONLY water. Anybody tried this machine or saw it in action? I sent them an email for more info but have yet to hear back from them. Just wondering if anybody knows if it works the way they say it does.

Thanks.

I've stripped thousands of floors in my career. I've never seen an autoscrubber that does a thorough job of stripping a floor with more than a couple of coats of finish on it. I call bullsh*tShocked

I'm not completely sold on it either. They claim with orbital tech and high rpm it works with just water. Water stay under a rectangular pad and it reaches flush into corners. Like I said, I'm still waiting to hear from them but they have a YouTube video. Search Clarke autoscrubber. Sounds too good to be true, but here's hoping.

I watched the video. It's all hype. You need to try it on a few floors to see if it worksWacko

Yeah. One job last year kicked my butt six ways from Sunday. I think I posted the details about here. I can't imagine that machine doing much in that place. The thought of it is nice, but then again, good thoughts won't strip a floor. ;)
