Greetings! I'm very new to this site but looking for expert advice regarding the cleaning of puppy messes on carpet.
I've raised a few puppies in my lifetime and am well accustomed to cleaning potty messes. Having just gotten a new puppy (the first for this household) I was informed by the landlord of my loft apartment that after we vacate our apartment, they will meticulously scour our apartment with a black light. She also stated that if any urine has leaked through the pad, floor, etc, that the entire carpet would be replaced at our cost. Needless to say I'm a little concerned. I have acquired a black light and it seems we have done a good job of cleaning as I can find no stains where the puppy has made messes. However, I am not sure if industrial carpet cleaners have special equipment that will reveal stains that have leaked through?? I'm a little nervous. Can someone tell me how I can be sure we are cleaning well enough?? |

Currently my cleaning process consists of:
1. Blotting/applying pressure at a fresh urine spot with paper towel until I can retrieve no more liquid 2. Treating the stain with Woolite Pet Oxygen Cleaner, letting set for 5 min, then blotting excess cleaner. |
