I currently have a contract to clean 116 town houses for a co-op.  Not the nicest cleanest carpet.   They will most likely require some kind of pre-scrub.  Just wondering how well an RX will do on real trashed out carpet.  my aim is to cut out the scrubbing step.

any ideas?

I also made this "Slide" with grooves in front and back of the row of holes, which gives good agitation, and still Slides like butter, and DRY'S super fast!Big%20smile

Steamer , A rotovac 360 would do the job and is much lighter than the RX-20. I've run both and would choose the 360.
the Rx-20 is hard to beat but the weight will kill ya. Didn't someone just have a 71 st Birthday??

i agree go with a 360.  I have seen mine work wonders in seconds on the worst carpet around with no extra effort.
