DFC105 as a rinse is the best IMO.
The new Encapsulating Acid Rinse from Chemspec is getting rave reviews from my cleaners as well.

To answer your question textile rinse is applied after cleaning /or if you are pre spraying a textile rinse can be applied with your portable/truckmonut as a final rinse. It helps to neutralize the remaining pre spray, originally it was very important to do this when cleaning upholstery and the concept carried over to carpet cleaning. Some will tell you this is not necessary but it helps more than running another alkiline detergent through the fabric in my opinion.

Clean-It emulsifier from Genicare is what I use. Best stuff Ive come across IMHO.

    How is this to be used after you clean the carpets or during the cleaning? I'm new to carpet cleaning and trying to learn the more technical aspect of it.I learned the basics working for someone else.He did not show me anything on carpet rinse though.Thank's for any help given.Last how much does carpet rinse usually cost$$$
