don't take it personal \nr...but time is money...
Cold calling makes timing work against you not for you. It doesn't do you any good to spend time with prospect who: Has no need for your product will buy your product in the distant future but not anytime soon Is alreadya customer Has just bought from your competition. Timing is critcal, as I just mentioned there's no point in calling someone who is not in a buying mode for your product or has no need for it. HOWEVER cold calling forces you to spend your VALUABLE, PRODUCTIVE time with exactly those people. Pixcture this NR is sitting at his desk running his booky numbers, writing his buffet menu, and making a new telemarketing script. he's trying to get this done all before 8pm so he can finally go home... He is juggling task ...ring ring ring....it's some ass calling to give him 100 dollar voucher to manderine..lol |

NR I'm just trying to bring my posting to another level.
you can read the newpaper when you want... you go to the yellow pages when you need a service flyer comes in you read them at you leisure or throw them out at you leisure.. customers refer you on their own...and most likely you did a great job... calling people and begging during dinner is annoying..during Y&R is annoying...during breakfast television is annoying...while I'm relaxing or taking a nap is annoying... Sears is a big Telemarketer...and I can say from experience that 90% of the calls they get are minimum calls ...or cheapos....Do you know how many times I've heard "you guys called me" I hate pitty calls Edited by MR.
