i just got a used white magic pro 1200 truck mount that runs off the vans engine. i was wondering if it was normal for the hot water to flow through the radiators over flow hose constantly. is this suppose to happen or how do i stop it from pouring out.

Your heat exchager has a hole in it. The fresh water is entering your van's cooling system and causing it to overflow. You need a new HE coil.

Correct. It's called a heat exchanger. One of the coils has a hole in it.

Since you don't seem to understand how your system works, you should bring it to a repair shop to have it fixed.

He will still get heat, but some of the fresh water will escape into the van's cooling system and dilute the coolant until it eventually becomes all water
