Have you noticed?

Two years ago on the ICS board, I made a prediction that Gold had bottomed at the then current price of $260/oz, and was now ready to resume it's climb up to $1000+/oz. Gold set a new 16 year high of $438/oz today and is only a week or two away or less than passing $450/oz. Once that happens, it will be ready to run up to$850 per oz in only a couple of months. But it wont stop there. The US dollar is depreciating rapidly these days and is set to depreciated a whole lot more. As this happens people are putting more and more of their money into Gold. But it is a very limited resource, so demand will rapidly outstrip supply. I expect that you will see the price soar to well over $1000/oz by next Spring.

If you want in on this play, buy some gold options. The $500 ones will still be cheap to acquire for a week or so and will give you a $50000 profit on each one when the $1000 price is reached. Buying gold shares will also deliver great returns as they also appreciate faster in percentage terms than buying bullion outright.

So Ken you dabble in the stock market now.  Do you think with your credibility anyone will take your advice?

I don't dabble in it. I was a full time investor in it before I started in the carpet cleaning business 26 years ago. I never left it. Those that do not listen to the financial market info I give will lose. My timing has been wrong a few times, but I have never been wrong in the direction a commodity is going, and I am not wrong on this one either. I have called oil, gold, silver, and the Euro right for the last 3 years now. My timing on the stock market the last  year or so has been off, but it is still going down. It just is going to take a little longer than I first thought. I expect the big drop to start next year sometime in 2005 after gold passes $1000 per once. I am glad that this post will still be there for readers here to see just how right I am on this.

The trouble is that futures/options contracts have an limited time frame, so not only do you have to call the move, but you have to be right in the timing...

Ken failed to tell you that!

I can say a market is going to go up (or down for that matter) and sooner or later it will...could be years!

If Ken was so good in the markets, he'd be running a hedge fund and not farting around with glides and feeding chickens.

Notice how Chuck knows more than Ken on every subject?

Chuck I think it's time to admit you are in love with Ken.

Time for a coming out party, we can even have it on your boat

Ken knows more about chicken farming than I!

I don't love Ken, but I do enjoy talking with him.

No party!
