The viscose portion of your carpet takes very little brushing and agitation to chafe it up. It is not correctable except maybe running a safety razor over it to get the surface looking somewhat better. The vomit may have caused permanent staining and the carpet cleaner may have used too much water and left a browning stain. Suggest spraying white vinegar and toweling it up. It might help.

We got a rug cleaned last week that had 3 stains. All 3 were from our tiny dog vomiting. One stain had noticeable yellow coloration but the other 2 stains had very little color but the fibers had been scrubbed too harshly and that made the spot noticeable. We had a company come and steam clean. The yellow stain disappeared but where the 2 stains with very little discoloration actually got much much worse. The company came back yesterday and cleaned those spots again and I can not believe it! But those 2 spots got even WORSE?!?!?! I simply do not understand how this can be? I've left a voice message with the company and have yet to hear back. But I wanted to ask other professionals within this industry for input. Any suggestions? I'm not even sure how to proceed at this point?
I can not get the links to my images to work with the "insert image" option. So I will share links below. Two images are of the stains and one image is the rug content info. https://imgur.com/BUHCyhE https://imgur.com/C3y1pnF https://imgur.com/Dc6Wl7S |
