What kind of tile are we talking aboout here Crispy? Porcelain I take it as Subway.
If there is still a haze left on the tile, then you still have grout haze left on there. (meaning not shiny) Don't worry about the grout not being sealed yet with the cleaners as we usually clean and then seal anyways. Depending on how old the grout install is, you might get awat with using a light acid wash to remove the haze and bring back the shine but be sure to neutralize with plenty of water when done and then seal.

My tile installer prepped , installed and grouted my tile . They sponged the floor and bathtub 'skirt' , but didnt do the wall tile ( 3'x6' standard white subway style with 4' mosaic band )contacted them and have never returned , to get paid or finish . So i sponged off the wall tile area to get it caught up with rest of tile but cant get it completly 'shiny' . All the grout 'haze' is off, but its like the tile is almost stained or something by the grount being left so long .I dont want to try any cleaners because grout isnt sealed yet untill haze is off and final sponge etc ?
Oh and the type of grout is Polyblend Non-sanded Bright-white #381 thanks for any help really need to get this finished Chris |
