Yes. That happens all the time. You need to point it out to your customer and note it on your cleaning contract.

Happen with old tile and poor installation. As Mark say's do 10 min inspection before starting the job you'll save a lot of headaches and at the same time sale more with fixing there problem.

Not too often. I usually do an inspection looking for cracked or missing/loose grout and inform the custy of the possibility of blowing out the grout.
If so, let them know you can replace/repair the grout and then offer them a colour seal so the grout will be a uniform colour.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced any problems with damaging or loosening grout when cleaning ceramic tile. I normally clean arount 600-700 psi with a t/m using a spinner.
