These machines will not go up to 450 psi if the jetting on them is too large. The cam in them puts out a low gpm flow rate.

I have the 1003hv. the black knob at the bottom right side turns to the left to reduce the psi and to theright to increase the psi. If this does not turn it coulld be siezed from lack of use. I spray every thing with wd 40 to keep everything loose so try this. You could also have a broken spring inside. Also if the wd 40 loosens it up you will find for a little while until the wd 40 completly evaporates the knob will turn on its own from vibration so you have to readjust the psi from time to time. this is only temporary.

The pump is over 450 rated.  It is running at about 200psi.  How do I adjust the pump pressure?  I see the black handle on the front, but it will not turn.  Is it suppose to?

Thanks in advance.
