I called Hydramaster and they said they did make a PTO kit for the V6 Astro and Safari vans with factory AC.... however they don't have them anymore.
I'm hoping someone will see this that has a spare one laying around to sell me.

Shaft isn't the problem, it's the actual PTO drive assembly under the hood that I can't find.

alot of the earily cds would not allow you to hookup the a/c. Look for a hookup for a full size gm van and maybe all you will have do is shorten the shaft. mr. Steamer is the one to talk to when venturing on a modificatin like this.

I have an older Hydramater PTO system but I have not been able to find a PTO setup to fit a 1990 Astro Van with the 4.3L V6 that has factory AC.
Does anyone have one or know where to find one?
Thanks, Gordon
