only run what hose you HAVE to run.
on a portable shorter is better WAY better even if you have 2x3 stage vacs.
only run 50 when you must, run 15 if you can its a major major difference!

Thanks fella's, my wand is a 2 Jet and I'm thinking it's saturating the carpet a bit too much, not for the machine because the machine is pretty good, however, i noticed today that I don't get full suction out of the wand unless the wand is directly parallel with the carpet. i'm not sure if it's just a technique thing i'm going to have to master or if maybe a glide or shorter hoses might be the answer to my issues. I currently have 50' hoses but the dual vacuum should be suffice should it not?
Thanks for the replies guys, really appreciate it.

dont make any more than 2 wet passes with the wand.
make sure your hose is less than 30' long, shorter is better.
make 2-3 dry passes - slow dry passes.

Seems like the suction is just fine for that machine.....perhaps you're saturating the carpet, sometimes we tend to overspray thinking that more water all at one time will clean better. Try one pass, and see how that turns out

See if you can get a glide for your wand and/or use an airmover to speed up the drying process.l

Damn, I spent a good chunk of change on this machine :-\, it's a 3 stage 2 vac.
I did my apt today again around 12:30central and it's around 5:00p.m. and everywhere i step is still moist, as soon as i walk into my kitchen i gotta hold on to something so i won't slip and bust my azz.

I'll go out on a limb and say you need a better machine.
More heat and more vacuum suction.
Other wise you'll be doing drying passes till your arms fall off.

Sup fellas,
Just found the forum and wish I did before. I have a now business partner in the C.C. business and he got me interested enough to get into the business. Now that i'm in it, I think I jumped into it with out doing enough research.
I bought the same equipment he was using and I'm trying to advertise the same way he has but it seems as though I picked the wrong time or it could be the best time, we'll know when the holidays start coming around next month.
Anyways, I bought a portable Namco Husky unit(scooter)
However, I'm not sure if it's the equipment that's causing my worry or just jitters. I've done 2 House's and an apt and my concerns with the equipment is drying time. The house I did was a 7 room house and it took more than 4hrs for the carpets to dry and the apt I did(Mine) took about 3+ hours to dry. Is the machine I picked not suffcient or am I doing something wrong?????
Anyways, thanks guys and I look forward to posting up on the board.
