Hello Guys My first post in the forum! In advance my apologies for my poor English. Clean Carpet is a Brazilian carpet cleaning company using gear from Powrflite. As you guys can imagine, carpet down here gets really dirty. we use a 500 PSI heated system with a power brush wand to do the job. I heard mixed comments good and bad for the Rotovac system. Because we need to import the gear, parts and do our own repairs we cannot go wrong on the purchasing decision we make. I'm still pretty confused if the rotovac is or is not a good option. Thanks ahead for comments the can help me out!

I agree with that. For light to medium soiled carpets, most of the time the wand is faster. The RX20 shines in cleaning the really trashed carpets and large area commercial carpets. If you use it in residential cleaning you should try to get .50 per sq for it. Or it is not worth the extra time it takes. |

You may find out like most others, using a Wand is much faster & more convenient 75% of the time!

He is right. The RX20 is the stronger of the 2. But it leaves the carpet too wet without the glides on it.My glides can get the carpet dry in as little as 1 hour on this machine(holes face pattern). Mick over in Australia can attest to this. Maybe he could tell you how well they work himself. |

From what I've seen of the Rotovacs they have a lot of parts that wear out prematurely. the Rx20's are a better unit but unless you've got glides on them they leave the carpet very wet.

I think the new Rotovac 360 looks interesting. It would be worth a try if you're dealer will accomodate you. I'm going to buy the gliders for my RX20. Anyone out there have experience with these?

I've used a Rotovac once and didn't like it, instead I bought an RX-20 High Speed and it works great for trashed jobs.

I bought a rotovac and it broke apart on the second job. That was in 95. Since then I've used an RX-20 for jobs that require it. Much sturdier unit and built to last. Fourteen years and going strong. I would get a RX. JMO

ROTOVAC is way better than RX-20.
This is my first post here, but I can guarantee you that ROTOVAC is extremely good and of course better than RX-20 |
