Andy: The mixing ratio can be checked by drawing the concentrate from a clear graduated container. Spray the Hydro Force sprayer into a marked 1 gallon container. When full, see how much was drawn up into the sprayer. Compute your true mixing ratio from that.Adjust it till it gives the ratio you are looking for, then mark that point on the dial.

If your product is of the nature to clog up your sprayer and equipment I wonder what it is doing to the carpet. Someone should do a survey on how many hours and how many dollars are wasted on pumping up sprayers. This is a very non-productive costly endeavor. Not to mention the inefficiency of the spray coming out at different and declining pressures. It's bad enough that these are being used for pre-spray but when using it with carpet protectors such as Scotchgard you are never going to get consistent coverage. My preference is the Hydro Force sprayer. It's always the same pressure as your pump and Hot. Yes the combination of Hot, Forcefull, Fast and Penetrating gives you the superior cleaning at a low labour cost compared to pump up sprayers. |

Pump up sprayers are ok if used properly for different applications. It all depends on your budget.

Mr. Steamer: Granulated powder. Are you not suppose to add water to that before you put it in the sprayer and Head to the trenches?? Order your HIDE in liquid. |
