you are wasteing you time with all that garbage. Get the proper tools and do it right the first time? When the place smells like it is gong to explode expalin that to the owner?? Why do people take on jobs that they know d**k about doing??? Call a good installer he will have it off in no time?

So tomorrow Im going to hit it with WD40 and let it penetrate a few hours. I have a shovel short of thing with a sharp scraper head on it.

I use the razor blade scrapers that installers use. they work great even faster than the electric ones sometimes.

Galon of Gasoline and a match works real good.....................no scraping..................you might want to invest in a new pair of running shoes though

My client has 3 rooms that have had 1970's indoor/outdoor recently ripped out. The rubber padding / backing is now firmly attached to the concrete floor in a thin but hard to remove layer. I have tried scraping this up but it is very hard work. I even tried heat and some glue remover type chemicals, but this stuff is coming up with great difficulty.
I have now told the client to simply re-install indoor/outdoor right over this stuff without removing it. Is this good advice? is there something I'm not thinking of to remove the backing from the floor? Thanks in advance.
